Well, that was too easy! Now the hard part (except for remembering yet another password) is to maintain ones blog. This, as I see it, is where blogs fall down.Unless they are continuously updated and interesting enough to read, then who is going to bother?
I have always avoided blogs like the plague. If a Google search brings one up, then I ignore it. My librarians instinct tells me it is not authoritative and therefore not worthy of my time.
I see a lot of use for library websites in disseminating information, and there is usually someone who is responsible for its update. But blogging seems to be far more ad hoc and so many I have read since starting this course refer to lack of time being allocated to maintain it.
